Ms. Gruber, what innovations are you presenting at the A+A in Düsseldorf ?

Gabi Gruber: The company Pfanner presents the new BOA cut boot, the lightest in its class with an easy handling. The boot is riveted and with the high shaft nothing can slip. There is the BOA closure system for quick entry and exit. The shoe is an all-rounder, it is both on the Construction site applicable in landscaping as well as in Forest. In addition, the yellow rivets show the Safety Officer an that the employee is maximally and properly protected with safety class 2 footwear.

Now you are also presenting an innovation for communication on construction sites or rough terrain with the BT-COM system. What exactly is this and what is the special highlight for 2019/2020?

The Protos Integral BT-COM system is a Bluetooth communication solution that allows up to four people to be connected over several hundred meters. This application is highly valued in rescue and recovery operations. Also in the Mountain rescue etc. it is in use. The initial feedback is very positive. The way of speaking is clear and it is possible for all four to communicate at the same time. This is particularly useful during forestry work or on a construction site. Everyone hears the others and in real time. However, this can also be switched off individually. It is the simplest system and also the lightest - only 42 grams - on the market. Nevertheless, continuous operation from early morning to evening is possible.

Another highlight are our printed visors and the printed Hearing protectioncapsules, they are very well received by visitors. You can have these industrial safety products printed with your company logo or crest with us. With the EN397, EN352-3 and EN1731 S certifications, the Protos Integral head protection suitable for the toughest applications and most extreme weather conditions, from wet-cold to dry-hot temperatures.

Your personal conclusion of the trade fair? Customer approach, how satisfied are you? Your personal trends that you discovered at the trade show?

We are experiencing very large crowds at our booth and have already received many global inquiries. Since there is a lot going on at the Pfanner booth, I haven't had a chance to look around yet. We only notice in the conversations that Pfanner is a name that people know and that stands for safety and for good quality.
