Guido Honegger from the tracker.com AG and Matthias Oswald from iWay AG found a new company called smartinfo AG. At the same time, they enter into a strategic partnership with SEC 1.01 AG, as the initiators write. The two partners would offer solutions in dealing with big data through the new company and under the brand "smartinfo". The focus is on the profitable use of 100% of the data available on the Internet. The user would have access to extensive sources from the federal administration, news sites, news broadcasts (video and audio) as well as company and industry-specific information.

Smartinfo says it uses more than 400 sources via so-called connectors: from social media to email, fileshares and sharepoint files, ODBC and more, and supports more than 1000 file formats and 140 languages. "Meaning Based Search" can, for example, detect negative reporting in social media at the outset and help companies prevent damage to their reputation. Mapped Security ensures the integrity and security of the data.
