Oensingen: Gust of wind tore off roof
Winter storm Evi showed its wild side on Wednesday: In Oensingen, a gust of wind hurled a roof of a shelter against an SBB overhead line.
The approximately 10 x 15 meter roof of the shelter on the grounds of the armory in Oensingen did not stand a chance: The strong wind tore it away and hurled it against an SBB catenary pole, which toppled. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Rail traffic between Oensingen and Oberbuchsiten was interrupted.
