Peter Gardo on board at Swiss Safety Center
Peter Gardo, a proven expert in the playground industry, started working at the Swiss Safety Center on November 1, 2019. With his know-how and his team, he supports builders, operators and owners of playgrounds - e.g. landscape architects and gardeners, municipalities, property management companies, tourism and catering businesses - in complying with the required safety standards (e.g. EN 1176 and EN 1177) for new installations or existing facilities.
"The great art here is to keep an eye on the "play value" of the facilities while focusing on safety. A playground without a fun factor makes no sense, neither for operators nor users," says Peter Gardo.
Peter Gardo brings playground know-how from his former work at the world's largest playground equipment manufacturer. As a long-standing sales professional and key account manager in various industries, he is used to reconciling even complex safety requirements and customer needs.

Swiss Safety Center AG is a company of the SVTI Group and part of the Competence Center for Technical Safety and Risk Management.
