In Germany, I.G.T. Verlag takes over the local security publication WIK from SecuMedia Verlag.

The I.G.T. Publishing House not only operates the portal Sicherheit.info, it also publishes the associated print product "Protector". As of issue 3/2016, WIK will be integrated into "Protector" "as an independent title with the core areas of corporate protection and ASW news," according to the Sicherheit.info portal.

As a result of the continuously increasing economic pressure on publishers, Peter Hohl, Managing Director of the SecuMedia Publishing Houses, decided to discontinue WIK as an independent title.
