Addressing psychological problems on the job
The "How are you doing?" campaign is entering a new round - this time focusing on the world of work.
The "How are you?" campaign aims to help destigmatize mental illness, raise awareness of the issue, and encourage people to talk about mental problems in their everyday lives. The Swiss foundation Pro Mente Sana is behind the campaign.
After running for around a year, the campaign has now started a new round, this time focusing on the world of work.
As many mental illnesses are still not treated at all or are treated too late due to taboo, the campaign calls on people to openly name the problems so that they can work together to find solutions. To this end, it shows how to address mental stress in the workplace and encourages people to speak up and listen.
From October 17, large and small posters will once again be on display in the sponsoring cantons, this time with two new subjects on the world of work. In addition, numerous regional campaigns are taking place.
A new brochure, "Mental Health at Work," shows employees what they can do for their mental health and how to proceed if they raise mental stress. A similar product will be available in the course of the
campaign year for managers as well, because they play a crucial role in supporting and retaining employees who are stressed or ill.
Talking tips and information on mental health, as well as helpful addresses, are also provided on the website www.wie-gehts-dir.ch published.
