Risk scenarios in healthcare - are we prepared for emergencies?

How well prepared is our healthcare system for major national disasters? What are the risks and dangers? An event with many injured, sick and also dead people can happen at any time. The conference "Risks in Health Care" addresses, among other things, the questions: What can happen. What challenges this poses for the healthcare system. What preparatory measures and competencies are imperative for preparedness and coping. The aim is to discuss the objectives, necessary measures and contributions from practice and science with the target groups addressed.

On the basis of contributions from practice and science, threats and Dangers and their effects on the Healthcare analyzed. Concrete risks and measures to address them are discussed in workshops.

Target audience

Hospital directors, heads of security at acute hospitals, emergency ward managers, heads of the 144 emergency medical call centers, rescue service managers, cantonal physicians, heads of health offices and chiefs of staff at cantonal command staffs.

Language of presentations: German or French with simultaneous translation. Language of the workshops: For the workshops, the language of the announcement applies.

Registration Deadline: August 19, 2019

Cost: CHF 190.- for both days
