Recall of the "Allocacoc Powercube Extended (USB)" socket cube

In voluntary cooperation with the Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (ESTI), M. Schönenberger AG recalls the power strips "Powercube Extended" and "Powercube Extended USB" of the brand "Allocacoc". There is a risk of electric shock.

The affected products must no longer be used and will be replaced free of charge. What is the danger posed by the affected products? The affected socket cubes have safety-related defects. There is the Risk of electric shock.

Which products are affected?

Affected by the product recall are the "Power Cube Extended" and "Power Cube Extended USB" socket cubes purchased before October 11, 2017 (see photo).

What should affected consumers do?

The affected socket cubes must no longer be used. The connected devices must be unplugged. Affected customers are requested to contact the customer service of M. Schönenberger AG by phone or e-mail so that the replacement process can be initiated. The non-conforming socket cubes will be replaced free of charge. Any postage costs will also be reimbursed.
