Fire blanket recall

In voluntary cooperation with bfu - Beratungsstelle für Unfallverhütung, Sicli Feuerlösch-Material AG recalls certain fire blankets.

• The following fire blankets are affected by the product recall:
• Couverture anti-feu - F, 120X120CM, item number 32921.2818A
• Fire blanket - D, 120X120CM, item number 32921.2818AD
• Couverture anti-feu, - F, 180X180CM, item number 32921.2818B
• Fire blanket - D, 180X180CM, item number 32921.2818BD
• Couverture anti-feu - F, 120X180CM, item number 32921.2818C
• Fire blanket - D, 120X180CM, item number 32921.2818CD

The mentioned fire blankets do not comply with the requirements of the applicable safety standard. No incidents have been reported so far. However, there is a certain risk that the fire will reignite after the fire blankets have been applied.

Sicli Feuerlösch-Material AG asks the owners of fire extinguishing blankets of the brand SICLI to check by means of the article number whether the fire extinguishing blankets in their possession are affected. The fire blankets affected by the product recall should no longer be used in case of fire of frying or cooking oil as well as fat.
