Within the framework of ongoing market and product monitoring tests, it was determined that it can happen with a part of the production with production date "April 2015" that the warning alarm does not function properly if it has been exposed to high humidity for a longer period of time, as the Heavy Current Inspectorate ESTI communicated today. In the worst case, this could lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Abus Switzerland asks its customers to check whether their device is from the affected batch. The affected devices will be exchanged free of charge.

Note the batch number on the back

On the back of the warning alarm is a sticker with the batch number (see illustration). Devices marked "F4" after the three diamonds may be affected by the problem, Abus writes.
