SALTO FOUNDATION promotes social change through sport
The SALTO FOUNDATION began operations in summer 2025, marking the start of a new phase in SALTO WECOSYSTEM's long-standing commitment to social responsibility. The aim is to harness the transformative power of sport to promote positive change around the world - particularly by supporting disadvantaged groups and people with disabilities.

The new SALTO FOUNDATION website has officially gone online with the start of the foundation's work. It serves as a central platform for information about the foundation's projects, activities and goals. The focus is on the commitment to social inclusion and the promotion of sustainable, positive change through targeted programs and partnerships.
The SALTO FOUNDATION builds on over 25 years of philanthropic activities within SALTO WECOSYSTEM, in particular the previous involvement in the Free2Move initiative. For many years, this has involved employees and shareholders of the company in projects that promote equal opportunities, participation and social justice. The new foundation builds on this tradition and brings with it a strategic further development of previous projects.
At its core, the SALTO FOUNDATION focuses on two fields of action: Access to sport and sport as a driver for change. Within this framework, targeted support is provided for inclusive sports projects and the promotion of para-athletes worldwide - with the aim of improving visibility, participation and inclusion. In addition, the commitment aims to develop long-term, impact-oriented initiatives that use sport as a tool for social integration, empowerment and sustainable positive change in disadvantaged communities.
The SALTO FOUNDATION sees itself as a driving force. Its main focus is on sustainable financing concepts, strategic partnerships and concrete, measurable results in the projects it supports - far beyond traditional donation models.
"I am thrilled to be part of building the SALTO FOUNDATION, which is both a long-held dream and a new adventure. We firmly believe in bringing about positive change and empowering people who are working for a better society," says Javier Roquero, co-founder and long-time CEO of Salto and Chairman of the SALTO FOUNDATION.
Marc Gomez, CEO of SALTO WECOSYSTEM and member of the Foundation's Board, adds: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to work even more closely with our Foundation, which plays an important role for SALTO WECOSYTEM's businesses. The Foundation is the latest milestone in the ambitious journey that Salto, Gantner and Vintia have been on since their beginnings to create a more inclusive society and a sustainable future."
