Leaner Group Management at Dormakaba
Dormakaba makes changes in management and reduces the Executive Committee from eleven to nine people.
The final phase of the post-merger integration process could be completed by June 30, 2018, as announced, as Dormakaba has announced. Beat Malacarne, Chief Integration Officer, who has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2011, will step down on this date. He will devote himself to new tasks outside the company.
Merger of two segments
In addition, Dormakaba is merging its two smallest segments, Key Systems and Movable Walls, under a single management. However, the two businesses will not be merged operationally and will continue to operate under separate brands, according to the statement. Stefano Zocca, COO Key Systems and member of Group Management since 2011, will assume responsibility for the new combined segment with immediate effect. In this context, Christoph Jacob, COO Movable Walls since 2015, has decided to leave the company.
From 11 to 9 members
With these changes, the company is taking the next steps in its corporate development beyond integration and aims to further improve efficiency and effectiveness. The management structure at Group level will be simplified and the number of members of the Executive Committee will be reduced from eleven to nine, the major company announced.
