Security Innovation Award: Application deadline
The application deadline for the Security Innovation Award 2020 is now open. The award honors outstanding achievements in the security industry. The winners will be announced at this year's Security Essen in September.
As the leading trade fair for the security industry, the Security Essen (September 22-25, 2020) will be the biennial showcase for innovation. The Security Innovation Award is the seal of quality for new developments, emphasize the organizers. A competent jury evaluates each submitted product according to its innovative content and user benefits, as well as its cost-effectiveness and reliability. At the same time, the evaluation process also takes into account the positive impact on people and society, the organizers write. The jury consists of 23 members, who will evaluate the submissions in several rounds in a professional and critical manner.
Criteria and application deadline
The award will be presented for the seventh time this year. All exhibitors taking part in Security Essen 2020 can apply. The registered new development must be relevant to the security industry and the market launch must have taken place no earlier than January 1, 2019. Concepts whose market launch is still imminent could also be submitted. The subject areas of the innovation award are:
- Services
- Access, mechatronics, mechanics, systems
- Perimeter
- Video
- Fire, burglary, systems
- Cyber security, economic protection
One application per exhibitor is possible as of now - application deadline is June 15, 2020. Participation is free of charge. The award ceremony will take place on September 22, 2020 during the trade fair.
