SGIG symposium at Regent

On Wednesday October 2, 2019, the Study Group for Health Protection in Industry, Service and Trade (SGIG) will hold a symposium on lighting in theory and practice at Regent Beleuchtungskörper AG in the Regent Lighting Center (RLC) Basel.

Regent, based in Basel, employs around 600 people in six countries, is the market leader in Switzerland and one of the leading luminaire manufacturers in Europe. Its products are sold internationally in 35 countries via distribution partners.

At this SGIG symposium, participants can expand their knowledge on the topic of Light and lighting and they will learn about possible solutions for the Lighting in industry and commerce, in administration and in sales.

Program

After the welcome by the president of SGIG and a representative of the management of Regent Beleuchtungskörper AG, the following daily schedule is planned:

  • Presentation of the company by Marcel Brodbeck, Lighting Consultant.
    This will be followed by the following presentations by specialists from Regent Beleuchtungskörper AG:
  • Technical presentation by the head of the laboratory
  • Lighting in the workplace "TunableWhite" by Product Management
  • New technologies, such as "Mydata Analysis", "Mydata Position", "LIFI".

In the afternoon the following program items are scheduled:

  • Plant tour alternating with
  • Case studies and demonstrations of the areas of administration - industry - sales in the company's own premises.
  • Technical presentation "Artificial lighting in the daily routine".
