Safety award to win
The Swiss Association of Fire Protection and Safety Professionals is once again offering its VBSF Safety Award, worth 5,000 Swiss francs.
Once again, important innovations in the field of safety (see Prize announcement) the Swiss Association of Fire Protection and Safety Professionals (VBSF) can be submitted. As already mentioned, the main prize is 5,000 Swiss francs. However, according to the VBSF, a recognition prize of 2,000 Swiss francs will also be awarded. According to the call for entries, prizes will be awarded not only for scientific work, but also for work of practical significance.
Corresponding entries must be submitted in electronic form (PDF) or in paper form to the jury president by June 1, 2017 (VBSF, c/o Roger Holzer, Stockweg 16, 2557 Studen BE, e-mail: rholzer@gvb.ch).
The award ceremony will take place within the framework of the 21. Security trade fair will take place in Zurich-Oerlikon. The industry meeting point will be held from November 14 to 17, 2017.
The VBSF
According to its own information, the VBSF is an independent association that is committed to the safety of people, animals and property. Founded in 1977, the association has around 600 members from all security sectors.
