Safety technology of today and tomorrow

Where is the journey in security technology heading? The "Security Day" on November 20, 2018 in Zurich will provide a broad range of topics. Participants can put together individual topic blocks as they wish.

Changes in the environment, economy and technology create new needs and requirements for security. New forms of threat require adjustments in risk management. Protection goals are redefined and security concepts and measures are adapted accordingly. With the use of intelligent technologies, methodology and modern planning tools, solutions for the protection of people, property and buildings are achieved.

What challenges, what limits?

Security technology is undergoing major development steps - how futuristic, how networked can it be, and where are the current challenges and limits? Are building and security technology growing (completely) together? How will protection against the quasi "unpredictable" be achieved? As digitization progresses, however, the risk of cyber attacks on security technology also increases, as a result of which the integrity and functionality of the systems can no longer be guaranteed or any access to the operator's IT networks can be achieved. What trends and developments are emerging in this regard?

Six thematic blocks

The Security Day 2018 promises solutions - and this to questions in dealing with the various security trades and networked systems.

Event mode: The Security Day 2018 includes six thematic blocks and a keynote speech. Two thematic blocks will take place at the same time. Each participant can attend a maximum of three thematic blocks and the concluding keynote speech. The choice of topic blocks is made at the time of registration; spontaneous changes on site are not possible.

The individual topics and modules at a glance:

  • Module A: Video security: What do I do with the flood of data?
  • Module B: Safety interfaces: successfully solved.
  • Module C: Intrusion detection technology: qualified and secure!
  • Module D: How cyber security and data protection challenge us.
  • Module E: Door management in a modern ZuKo system
  • Module F: New aspects in service and maintenance
  • Module G: When physical and virtual merge: IoT in construction

SES Continuing Education Day

The conference is under the patronage of the Swiss Association for Safety Engineering (SES). The association recognizes the Security-Day 2018 as subject-specific further training (1 day) for the extension of the respective competence certificates (EMA, AC, VS specialist).

The event, organized by Save AG, will take place on November 20, 2018 at the Marriott Hotel in Zurich.
