Siemens keeps sales stable in Switzerland
Siemens can look back on a stable sales result of more than one billion Swiss francs in the first half of the year, matching the previous year's level. The technology group employs 5320 people in Switzerland.
As Siemens writes in a press release, the technology group was able to maintain its sales last year. This amounts to a total of 1.072 billion Swiss francs and is thus at the previous year's level. Matthias Rebellius, member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG, was quoted in a press release as saying that "Siemens is playing a key role in the digitalization of infrastructure and is driving decarbonization forward. The company is very well positioned overall.
The basis for success is good cooperation and mutual trust, says Gerd Scheller, who has been in office as Country Manager since January 2021. "I am very pleased that we are all pulling in the same direction - customers, partners and the 5300 Siemens employees in Switzerland."
Siemens has a strong market position in Switzerland in building technology and power distribution as well as in industrial automation, industrial software and drive technology.
