Suisse Public is divided
Suisse Public is realigning itself. From 2019, it will be focusing on two different event concepts with a different industry focus.
Switzerland's leading trade fair for the public sector at the Bernexpo exhibition center is being realigned. Based on comprehensive surveys and workshops as well as an in-depth market analysis, Bernexpo, together with the trade fair partners, had in recent months developed the Suisse Public revised, write the organizers. The event, which will next be held from June 9 to 12, 2020, and every three years thereafter, will bring together the latest innovations and trends in the fields of firefighting and rescue equipment, municipal vehicles and traffic signaling, sports and leisure infrastructure.
Water part becomes independent
ProAqua, the event for the water and wastewater industry and gas technology, will be split off from Suisse Public: for the first time, Bernexpo will hold an independent ProAqua trade fair from February 5 to 7, 2019, and then every two years.
According to the organizers, they are convinced that this organic division of Suisse Public into two parts is a promising approach for the future that takes the needs of visitors, exhibitors and market developments into account.
