Swissbau - meeting place for the construction industry
In just a few weeks, the time will come again: Around 1100 exhibitors will present their products and services at the Swissbau construction trade fair in Basel from January 12 to 16, 2016.
Parallel to the fair Swissbau the networking and event format "Swissbau Focus" is held - a meeting of the construction industry, politics, business and authorities. Here, opinion leaders and experts from various fields debate the current challenges and opportunities facing the construction industry. Under the motto "Rescue through technology?", this year's focus is on technical developments in construction and their impact on the future of the construction industry.
The "Swissbau Focus" events are geared to the various specialist areas and their individual problems. Divided into ten thematic clusters, around 60 events will be held. The field ranges from digital transformation, spatial planning, architecture and planning, infrastructure construction, the future of energy in Switzerland and building technology to interior design, use and maintenance as well as education and training.
