Swissphone: Succession planning and 50th anniversary

The founding family and previous owner of the Swissphone Wireless AG has recently sold it as part of a succession plan. Swissphone was taken over by the previous management members and a group of entrepreneurs from Switzerland and Germany, advised by Rigeto Unternehmerkapital GmbH.

With this change of course, a further and extremely important milestone will be reached in 2019, according to the press release. This year, the company also celebrates its 50th anniversary. In 1969, Helmut and Erika Köchler - active on the Board of Directors until the end - founded the company and successfully developed it into the leading international provider of solutions in the areas of alerting and critical messaging.

Consolidate good development

Swissphone will continue under the existing management, according to the statement. The parent company in Samstagern ZH as well as the subsidiaries in Germany, Austria, France and the USA will be represented by the current managers, and there will be no changes for customers and employees, according to the statement. The Swissphone Group has developed well in recent years, winning important projects and implementing innovations.
