Occupational Safety and Health Day

April 28, 2018 is the day for safety and health at work. The day of action was introduced by the International Labor Organization (ILO) to promote safe, healthy and decent work.

People around the world are exposed to safety and health risks from their work. The ILO estimates that every day, around 6,000 people are injured by work-related Accidents or Diseases die. Occupational safety and health is therefore a concern for governments, employers, employees and their families.
