"TCS Car Assistant" - the new kind of roadside assistance

Together with its partners Swiss Automotive Group and Salt, and in collaboration with Bosch as technology supplier, TCS is launching the "TCS Car Assistant" app. The app will help prevent breakdowns and diagnose the causes of breakdowns more quickly, but also offers various other functions.

The app identifies service stations with TCS discounts and shows the vehicle's service requirements, including price indication. Corresponding appointments can be booked directly online at all carXpert and Garage plus workshops. TCS Car Assistant provides information on the battery charge level as well as driving behavior and consumption. The TCS breakdown service can be alerted directly via the app. The rapid establishment of contact with the TCS emergency call center and the transmitted vehicle data allow conclusions to be drawn about the severity and urgency of an emergency. Vehicle problems detectable before breakdown occurs

Furthermore, the app user is informed via news function with current information on the topic of mobility as well as special offers from TCS, carXpert, Garage plus and Salt. TCS is thus taking the first step in the provision of an Connected Car solution for its members and intends to expand the offering with other partners in the future.
