Homicide in TG: new findings
Based on the findings to date, a relationship cannot be ruled out in the homicide last Sunday in Tägerwilen. The search for clues continues.
The examination of the body by the Institute of Forensic Medicine revealed massive head injuries, which ultimately led to death. It is certain that the body was not washed up by the high water. The exact circumstances of the crime are still unclear and are the subject of investigations. For example, it is not clear whether the place where the body was found is also the scene of the crime.
The autopsy commissioned by the Kreuzlingen public prosecutor's office has led to the identification of the woman. However, the identity has not yet been fully established. The emergency services are in contact with the presumed relatives.
The investigations so far have shown that the car found in the parking lot at the Seerheinbadi is connected with the homicide. It is a white Peugeot with Constance license plates, which can be attributed without doubt to the victim.
Under the direction of the Kreuzlingen public prosecutor's office, the Thurgau cantonal police are investigating at full speed, and close cooperation is taking place with the German authorities. At present, the traces from the place where the body was found are being evaluated by specialists and witness information is being received and examined. The law enforcement authorities are also investigating the victim's immediate private surroundings.
