Meeting place Sécurité Lausanne
From November 14 to 16, 2018, it's that time again: the security industry of Western Switzerland will gather at Expo Beaulieu Lausanne for Sécurité Lausanne 2018.
According to organizer Exhibit&More, the biennial Sécurité Lausanne 2018 is on track and some 55 exhibitors have registered to date - including 16 new exhibitors in addition to important key players from the industry. At the Fair 2016 the trade event attracted around 2300 trade show visitors and forum participants.
Topics of the technical presentations?
A central component of Sécurité Lausanne are the accompanying lectures with a broad range of topics at Forum Sécurité. The lectures deal for example with
- the trends in safety planning and technology
- Aspects of occupational and leisure safety
- the integration of natural hazards into construction projects
- fire protection technology and the principle of proportionality in fire protection
- the effects of digitalization on alerting
- the current threat situation in Switzerland
The speakers are proven experts with a strong practical orientation, who convey their experience in a solution-oriented manner. As in previous years, the most important industry associations support and participate in the conception of the thematic blocks and several associations award continuing education points for forum participation. The lectures are free of charge for visitors to the fair. Thanks to the division into half-day modules, both the exhibition and the forum can be attended on the same day.
ECA Vaud with its own supporting program
During the Forum Sécurité, the natural hazard insurer ECA Vaud offers its own supporting program with expert presentations.
Award ceremony
Within the framework of the professional event, the association ASIS the "Young Professionals Award" is presented. This rewards a project that is innovative, creative or represents an advance in the field of safety. Anyone under 40 with less than five years of work experience in the security industry is eligible to enter. The award is endowed with 2000 Swiss francs. In addition, the winner receives one year's free membership to ASIS International and the ASIS Swiss Chapter.
