Tyco is now Johnson Controls
Following the completion of the merger between Johnson Controls and Tyco Integrated Fire & Security, the two companies now operate under the "Johnson Controls" brand.
The merged company offers under the umbrella brand "Johnson Controls" offers a wide range of building technology solutions: from building automation, heating, ventilation and air conditioning to fire protection and security systems. These include established brands such as TycoZettler and Sensormatic. Johnson Controls is in a comfortable position with this portfolio, offering integrated building technology and combined insights and data that will translate into better operational performance and profitable growth for customers, according to the release.
Roland Y. Billeter, Vice-President and General Manager of Continental Europe at Johnson Controls Building Technologies & Solutions, said: "As a new combined company, we offer our broadest range yet of the latest technologies, solutions and expertise to help our customers protect and manage their buildings and provide an innovative, safe and comfortable working environment. The technology and industrial company operates in over 150 countries with 120,000 employees.
