Acquisition of SeeTec AG
American video management company On-Net Surveillance Systems (OnSSI) is acquiring a majority stake in SeeTec AG of Bruchsal, Germany, according to a statement.
For Stephan Rasp, Chairman of the Management Board of SeeTec, the merger of the two companies opens up new perspectives: "We are creating a new, independent player of global significance that offers open and platform-independent VMS solutions."
The merger is of great importance for further growth and for the diversification of the offering, said Gadi Piran, CTO of OnSSI. The cooperation is an important step on the way to a global market presence.
