Ulrich Fricker has headed Switzerland's largest accident insurer since April 1, 1999. As Chairman of the Executive Board, he also chairs the Board of Trustees of the Swiss Council for Accident Prevention (bfu) and the Federal Coordination Commission for Occupational Safety (EKAS), which he will also relinquish as Chairman on December 31, 2015. In order to recruit a successor, Suva's Board of Directors has appointed a search committee consisting of the Chairman's Committee headed by Dr. Markus Dürr.
