The goal of the collaboration is to create a reference solution in the field of critical information detection and processing from any source in multiple languages, according to the two vendors. They describe the added value of the partnership as follows: On the one hand, securely shielded and in more than 45 languages translated on the other hand, there is a Big Data Platform available to analyze, extract and categorize relevant information in real time. The integration of the two solutions, he says, makes it possible to quickly process structured and unstructured data from very different internal and external sources (websites, audio transcripts, social media, etc.) and provide investigators with a comprehensive overview of a subject.

Today, defense and security actors would face not only traditional threats (military conflicts, terrorism, etc.) but also newer threats such as cyber attacks, piracy, drug trafficking or natural disasters. Both types of threats can be detected by analyzing information freely available on the Internet.

The international dimension of the threats, the diversity of languages and dialects to be processed, and the lack of experts in the field of Middle Eastern languages make collection and analysis much more difficult, the two companies stress. This is where their services come in, they say.
