VBSF Conference 2025: 170 experts attended the industry get-together in Lucerne
The VBSF Conference 2025 brought together occupational safety and fire protection. Around 170 experts from both worlds met at the KKL Lucerne on March 20, 2025.
Occupational safety and fire protection are often concerned with similar issues - but they often have conflicting goals. It therefore makes sense for fire safety experts and occupational safety managers to exchange information on a regular basis.
Fire protection meets occupational safety
That's exactly what happened on March 20, 2025 at the KKL Lucerne. In two parallel themed tracks with 10 presentations and two workshops, occupational safety and fire protection experts learned about topics such as fire alarm systems, fire protection planning, fires in electric vehicles and electric commercial vehicles, the fire risk of home storage, hazardous substances, solvents, CMR substances, first aid concepts, first responder systems and digital tools for occupational safety and health protection.
During the breaks, participants took the opportunity to network and visit the 16 stands where exhibitors presented their products and services. Finally, all participants came together and learned more about occupational safety and fire protection at the venue, the KKL Luzern. The VBSF members stayed on after the end of the conference for the 47th General Assembly and drinks reception.
Positive feedback all round
The atmosphere during the day and the feedback from the participants was positive all round. The organizers are therefore already looking to the future after this first edition of the VBSF symposium in a new guise.
