VdS Training Center expands course offering
The VdS Training Center has expanded its range of courses to include "Information Security" and "Natural Hazards". But fire protection officers are also offered more.
Fire damage, cybercrime or damage caused by natural disasters can endanger the existence of companies and cost insurers billions every year. The best basis for preventive protection is therefore trained employees who recognize potential hazards and initiate countermeasures before any damage occurs. The VdS-Education Center has therefore supplemented its range of courses: It now includes the training areas "Information Security" and "Natural Hazards".
With over 90 different courses and workshops as well as around 25 specialist conferences, the company is now one of the most renowned training providers for corporate security in Germany, as Ingeborg Schlosser, VdS Division Manager Education Center & Publishing, emphasizes. With the publication of the 2016 course offering, the vocational training provider is also preparing for its 25th anniversary.
"We have always covered the topics of fire protection, security, electrical systems and occupational safety. Due to current developments and hazard situations, we are again including courses on new, above-mentioned topics in the program in 2016," Schlosser explained the new educational offering. "In addition, we have further expanded our offering for the coming year for the necessary advanced training of fire safety officers," she added.
