The interested public will find everything from construction machinery and lifting equipment to formwork and scaffolding. A new attraction will be daily presentations on "Digitalization on the construction site" in the fields of building construction, civil engineering, road construction and timber construction. The young people will also impress with tricky masonry work. After Jérôme Hug, a Lucerne native, was crowned Swiss champion at the SwissSkills, there will even be a World Cup candidate at the Schaumauern.
Practice for digitization on the construction site
What does BIM mean? What is digitization? And how does it affect practice on the construction site? Together with Baublatt, the Swiss Construction Management Association is organizing a series of specialist presentations at which companies will present their experiences with everything from 3D machine control to augmented reality. The aim of the events is to show professionals what is already being lived in Switzerland today in terms of digitization on construction sites - in other words, the practice in the production of buildings and infrastructure. On the one hand, the speakers will present concrete construction projects, explain terms and, on the other hand, make the limits of feasibility visible. The digital world will also be on display at the Baukader Schweiz stand. Using VR glasses, participants will visit a construction site for 60 seconds to collect as many points as possible.
