What is Switzerland showing at CeBIT?

CeBIT, the world's largest trade event for digitization, will take place in Hannover from March 14 to 18, 2016. ICTswitzerland and eleven companies recently gave a foretaste of Switzerland's appearance as a CeBIT partner country in Zurich.

In a few days opens the CeBIT 2016 will open its doors. What will Swiss exhibitors be showing at their CeBIT presence? A few examples:

The 2014 founded Twint AG is working on the development of a wallet for Switzerland. The PostFinance subsidiary presents its payment and shopping app for fast, cashless payment and gives a preview of value-added services such as digital stamp cards, mobile coupons and FastLane, which will be introduced in 2016.

Ergon Informatik AG presents the Airlock Suite IT security solution, showing how applications, identities and data can be effectively protected against threats on the network so that companies can make the most of the opportunities offered by digitization. Ergon will also present ICT projects from the areas of fintech, digitalization, Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 and showcase innovation and the highest security standards in Swiss quality.

The Noser Groupwhich, together with Noser Engineering, played a key role in the development of Android for Google and is one of the pioneers of mobile app developers, will be represented at CeBIT by five subsidiaries.

The Nexiot AG, a start-up from ETH Zurich, develops smart sensors in the field of Industrial Internet of Things and networks mobile industrial objects worldwide that do not have their own power source with the Internet. By bringing together industrial, business and government institutions at CeBIT, the company can expand its global network and draw attention to the importance of the Industrial Internet of Things.

The SpinningBytes AG specializes in machine learning algorithms for data analysis and will be showing high-performance software at CeBIT 2016 that analyzes and "understands" texts in different languages. The software can extract relevant information from the texts, for example by determining the tonality or recording which topics the text addresses.

ComfyLight AG presents its first product, a security solution in the form of an LED lamp, after three years of research and development around the Internet of Things.

SWISS Pavilion Arena - stage for Swiss keynotes

A Swiss highlight at CeBIT 2016 will be the Swiss Pavilion Arena at the Swiss Pavilion in Hall 6. Throughout the entire week of the trade show, Swiss speakers will highlight this year's trade show theme of digital transformation from a wide variety of perspectives in 55 keynotes. Entrepreneurs, researchers and authors will discuss the impact of digitization on business, research and society. The presentations will be broadcast as a live stream on www.ictswitzerland.ch.

The Swiss Supporting program includes, among other things, high-profile congress and networking events and exciting delegation visits.
