"Work Smart" initiative launched
The new "Work Smart" initiative, whose charter has already been signed by seven Swiss companies, aims to promote flexible working hours.

The trend towards flexible working time models continues in Switzerland. unbroken - So far, however, most employees still work according to fixed models.
The "Work Smart" initiative wants to help Swiss companies to make their working hours more flexible. The seven initiators - including Microsoft Switzerland, Swiss Post, SBB and Swisscom - want to further promote flexible working in their companies and at the same time help other companies to introduce it.
They have signed a charter to commit to these goals. From June 15 to 19, an additional Action week The event will give decision-makers and employees the opportunity to exchange information and ideas in specialist presentations and workshops.
The initiative is supported by the School of Applied Psychology at the FHNW with a study that examined for the first time where Swiss companies stand with regard to flexible working hours and where the challenges lie.
