The classic nine-to-five jobs are also becoming increasingly rare in the banking sector.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Bank employees with a fixed annual income of CHF 120,000 or more and a high degree of time autonomy are to be allowed to waive the recording of working hours in future. This was announced by the social partners in the banking sector - the Swiss Bank Employees Association (SBPV), the Swiss Commercial Employees Association (Kaufm\u00e4nnischer Verband) and the Swiss Employers' Association (Schweizerischer Arbeitgeberverband).<\/p>\n

Employees below the salary threshold, who are largely allowed to set their own working hours, will also be able to record their working hours more easily in future: they will only have to state the hours worked, but not the exact times and breaks.<\/p>\n

This agreement is a response to the Compromise proposal in working time recording<\/a>which the Federal Council announced in mid-February of this year.<\/p>\n
