The Security Congress<\/a>which was developed by the company Save Inc.<\/a> is a B2B platform that brings together the specialists, experts and officers responsible for risk management, safety and fire protection in Basel. The organizer emphasizes that the exchange of experiences, coupled with the opportunity to meet like-minded people and new members of the \"security community\", is key. For many, the congress has therefore become an indispensable fixture.<\/p>\n

The spectrum of topics ranges from building security to occupational safety, fire protection, technical security solutions and corporate security. The total of five half-days are self-contained and can be booked individually, as the organizer writes. Participation is subject to a fee and only possible by registration. In addition, the presentations of the two half-day modules on Wednesday, January 17, will be simultaneously translated into French.<\/p>\n

Start on January 16 in the afternoon<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The requirements for real estate are becoming increasingly extensive and complex. Security requirements are also constantly changing in view of the dynamic environment. How can buildings be operated, maintained or designed in a way that is not only intelligent, economical and comfortable, but also compliant with security requirements? Solutions are needed. Experts will be speaking on this topic at the Security Congress 2024 on January 16.<\/p>\n

Translation into French<\/strong><\/h3>\n

On Wednesday morning, January 17, two new types of threats and the latest security technology are on the agenda for the half-day module. Where are the opportunities in using the latest security technologies to be able to react more quickly and precisely to threats? Participants will receive answers to these and other questions from proven experts. In the afternoon, the focus will be on new energy technologies on and in buildings. How does fire protection play a role in this context? For example, is photovoltaics on the fa\u00e7ade of a high-rise building a curse or a blessing? Anyone interested will know more after attending this topic module 3 at the latest. All presentations at the Safety Congress on January 17 will be simultaneously translated into French.<\/p>\n

The final on Thursday, January 18<\/h3>\n

What can participants expect from the morning module on January 18 on the topic of \"Trends in building security\"? Digitalization, retrofitting, future solutions, cloud, on-premise and smart buildings are the apt buzzwords in a nutshell. And in the afternoon - in the fifth and final half-day module at the Security Congress - the speakers will show how occupational safety can be guaranteed at a high level during ongoing operations and despite the many challenges.<\/p>\n

At the Security Congress you also receive further training points in the following modules:<\/p>\n

VKF approval<\/strong><\/em>: \u00bd day of further training for the extension of the VKF certificate when participating in the module \"New energy technologies and fire protection!\" (17.1.2024).<\/p>\n

SES recognition<\/strong><\/em>: \u00bd day of subject-specific further training to extend the \"SES-EMA specialist\" certificate of competence when participating in the modules \"Threats and new security technologies\" (17.1.2024) and \"Trends in building security\" (18.1.2024); \u00bd day of subject-specific further training to extend the \"SES-VS specialist\" certificate of competence when participating in the modules \"Threats and new security technologies\" (17.1.2024) and \"Trends in building security\" (18.1.2024).<\/p>\n

SGAS recognition<\/em><\/strong>All five half-day modules are recognized by the Swiss Society for Occupational Safety (SGAS) with one further training unit (FBE) each.<\/p>\n
