What is the danger posed by the affected products?<\/b><\/p>\n

The backsheets of the photovoltaic modules are subject to embrittlement (so-called chalking). This can lead to cracks along the module's internal connectors. These cracks in turn can lead to voltage transfer from the module to the frame. There is a risk of electric shock.<\/p>\n

Which products are affected?<\/b><\/p>\n

These are photovoltaic modules of the SCHOTT SOLAR brand. The following models are affected: SCHOTT Perform POLY TM 210-245; SCHOTT Perform MONO TM 180-195; SCHOTT Power POLY TM 210-250; SCHOTT MONO TM 180-190; SCHOTT POLY TM 155-240<\/p>\n

What should affected consumers do?<\/b><\/p>\n

Parts of the solar system that may be defective due to the fault pattern in the backsheets described above must not be touched under any circumstances without protective measures against electric shock.<\/p>\n

Under no circumstances should consumers check the solar energy system themselves. They should consult specialists for this purpose.<\/p>\n

The specialist personnel should check the system and then submit a complaint to ECORAN. From there, the further processing of the process takes place.<\/p>\n
