The cameras are to be used when police officers stop or control private individuals in public spaces. The aim is to prevent violent or verbal assaults and document the behavior of those involved, according to a media release from the security department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maximum of eight cameras in use<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to information, a maximum of eight cameras will be used at the front. All police officers involved in the pilot project will be trained in the use of the body camera in accordance with the regulations issued by the city council, according to the security department. The exact duration of the pilot test is still open, as the project will be scientifically evaluated and sufficient data material must be available.
