The application limits of engineering methods in fire protection and current challenges will also be clearly demonstrated. The highlight of the conference will be a practical real fire test in one of the fire houses of the <a href=\"https:\/\/amz.zh.ch\/internet\/sicherheitsdirektion\/amz\/de\/zivilschutz\/ausbildungszentrum.html\">Training center in Andelfingen<\/a> (AZA).<\/p>\n<p>The topics of the scientific symposium:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facade fires<\/li>\n<li>Engineering methods from the point of view of the fire protection authority<\/li>\n<li>Firefighters: Practice is our benchmark<\/li>\n<li>The real fire test<\/li>\n<li>Accompanying simulations to the fire test<\/li>\n<li>Scenario concretization as a basis for performance-related verification management<\/li>\n<li>Hot design using the example of \"conversion \/ new construction of a university cafeteria<\/li>\n<li>Clearance simulations, application limits and evaluation of congestion times<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of the test data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The event on May 7, 2018 is organized by Save AG.
