Merger of Safe Swiss Cloud and Nexos
The cloud infrastructure provider Safe Swiss Cloud AG, Thalwil ZH, and Nexos AG, Basel, which is also active in the field of IT security, have joined forces.
The entire team as well as the cloud infrastructure and managed services of Nexos, the operator of the Swiss encloud, will be moved to the Safe Swiss Cloud integrated. With the merger of the two companies, Safe Swiss Cloud grows to 35 employees. It creates a 100% Swiss cloud alternative for enterprise customers with increased privacy, compliance and security needs in Switzerland and Europe, according to the company.
"With the merger, we are able to offer our enterprise customers additional managed services and further services around the clock to run their (hybrid) cloud architectures based on our virtual data centers," holds Prodosh Banerjee, CEO Safe Swiss Cloud.
"The Nexos team, with its many years of experience in customer consulting and support as well as in operating its own cloud, ideally complements the existing Safe Swiss Cloud team to provide a one-stop-shop cloud offering for customers," enthuses Thomas Spinnler, CEO Nexos.
Safe Swiss Cloud is ISO 27001 certified and is compliant with ISO 27018 and FINMA Circular 2008/7 (Outsourcing Banks).
