Bruxelles adopte de nombreuses vieilles lampes fluorescentes qui contiennent du mercure. La raison : apr\u00e8s le r\u00e8glement sur l'\u00e9coconception, la r\u00e9glementation sur la limitation du mercure - plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment la directive europ\u00e9enne sur la limitation de l'utilisation de certaines substances dangereuses dans les \u00e9quipements \u00e9lectriques et \u00e9lectroniques (en anglais RoHS - Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic Equipment) - entre d\u00e9sormais en vigueur.<\/p>\n

Il \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9vu que les lampes fluorescentes T8 soient retir\u00e9es du march\u00e9 en septembre de l'ann\u00e9e prochaine. \u00c0 partir du 25 ao\u00fbt 2023, les ampoules T5 seront \u00e9galement bannies, en plus des ampoules fluorescentes T8. (Une lampe fluorescente T5 a un diam\u00e8tre d'environ 1,5 cm, tandis qu'une lampe fluorescente T8 a un diam\u00e8tre d'environ 2,5 cm).<\/p>\n

Les lampes peuvent continuer \u00e0 \u00eatre achet\u00e9es et utilis\u00e9es<\/h2>\n

Toutes les lampes \u00e0 d\u00e9charge contiennent du mercure - m\u00eame si ce n'est qu'en faible quantit\u00e9. En font partie les lampes fluorescentes T5 et les lampes fluorescentes compactes \u00e0 culot \u00e0 broches, qui \u00e9taient jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent encore consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme des exceptions. D\u00e9sormais, pour les lampes fluorescentes destin\u00e9es \u00e0 l'\u00e9clairage g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, les dispositions sp\u00e9ciales doivent prendre fin apr\u00e8s douze ou dix-huit mois : Les lampes fluorescentes compactes sans ballast int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 partir du 25 f\u00e9vrier et les T5 \u00e0 partir du 25 ao\u00fbt 2023. Elles dispara\u00eetront ainsi beaucoup plus t\u00f4t et \u00e0 une \u00e9chelle nettement plus grande du march\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\"Les ampoules ne doivent donc pas n\u00e9cessairement \u00eatre remplac\u00e9es et les lampes d\u00e9j\u00e0 achet\u00e9es peuvent encore \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es\", explique J\u00fcrgen Waldorf, directeur de l'initiative sectorielle \".light.fr<\/a>\". Le commerce continue \u00e0 vendre ses stocks jusqu'\u00e0 ce qu'ils soient \u00e9puis\u00e9s. Mais aucune nouvelle lampe n'est produite ou mise sur le march\u00e9 en Europe apr\u00e8s les dates de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence respectives. Le terme technique utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9signer cette situation est \"d\u00e9phasage\".<\/p>\n

Pour les exploitants de biens immobiliers commerciaux, la r\u00e9novation de l'\u00e9clairage peut s'av\u00e9rer n\u00e9cessaire plus t\u00f4t. Les m\u00e9nages priv\u00e9s ne rencontreront gu\u00e8re de difficult\u00e9s avec cette nouveaut\u00e9, ils opteront tout simplement pour des LED \u00e0 faible consommation d'\u00e9nergie lors de leur prochain achat.<\/p>\n
