Ils le font en tant que collaborateurs d'entreprises d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, d'installations \u00e9lectriques et de contr\u00f4le \u00e9lectrique, en tant qu'\u00e9lectriciens d'entreprise dans l'industrie et l'artisanat ainsi qu'en tant que formateurs dans les \u00e9coles et les entreprises. Ils savent que l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 est tr\u00e8s dangereuse, car elle est invisible, silencieuse et inodore. Si nous le sentons, il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement d\u00e9j\u00e0 trop tard.<\/p>\n<p>Le risque de perdre la vie lors d'un accident \u00e9lectrique est 50 fois plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que lors d'autres accidents. Pourtant, les \"5 + 5 r\u00e8gles vitales en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9\" ne sont toujours qu'\u00e0 moiti\u00e9 appliqu\u00e9es, voire ignor\u00e9es - en particulier lors de la manipulation de la basse tension. Les cons\u00e9quences sont fatales : chaque ann\u00e9e, l'Inspection f\u00e9d\u00e9rale des installations \u00e0 courant fort (Esti) re\u00e7oit environ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esti.admin.ch\/de\/dokumentation\/jahresberichte-uebersicht\/unfaelle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">500 accidents \u00e9lectriques<\/a> sont signal\u00e9s. Dans pr\u00e8s de 99 % des cas, il s'agit d'accidents professionnels, neuf sur dix se produisent dans un environnement basse tension pr\u00e9tendument \"inoffensif\". Entre 2007 et 2016, 450 personnes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 gri\u00e8vement bless\u00e9es dans des accidents \u00e9lectriques professionnels. 18 ont m\u00eame perdu la vie, dont 14 dans des accidents \u00e0 basse tension !<\/p>\n<h2>Quand l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 devient-elle dangereuse ?<\/h2>\n<p>La gravit\u00e9 des blessures en cas d'accident \u00e9lectrique d\u00e9pend de l'intensit\u00e9 du courant et de la dur\u00e9e de l'exposition. L'intensit\u00e9 du courant r\u00e9sulte de la tension et de la r\u00e9sistance de contact. Cette derni\u00e8re d\u00e9pend \u00e0 son tour du type de surface de contact (v\u00eatements, \u00e9paisseur et humidit\u00e9 de la peau) et de la conductivit\u00e9 du support (semelles en caoutchouc, parquet, terre humide). C'est pourquoi une d\u00e9charge \u00e9lectrostatique de la moquette est sans danger malgr\u00e9 les 30 000 volts - parce que l'\u00e9nergie est infime. En revanche, le simple fait de s'approcher d'un dispositif \u00e0 haute tension, \u00e9galement de 30 000 volts, repr\u00e9sente un danger de mort - car il y a un risque de surtension (arc \u00e9lectrique) et donc un flux de courant \u00e9lev\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>En fonction de la physiologie individuelle, la r\u00e9sistance du corps humain est de 700 \u00e0 1000 ohms. Par cons\u00e9quent, 50 volts suffisent pour faire circuler un courant de 50 mA (milliamp\u00e8res), qui peut \u00eatre mortel. Mais m\u00eame des courants bien plus faibles, \u00e0 partir de 10 mA, peuvent \u00eatre mortels. En effet, \u00e0 partir de cette \"limite de rel\u00e2chement\", les spasmes musculaires provoqu\u00e9s par le courant attachent la victime au conducteur \u00e9lectrique. La dur\u00e9e d'exposition augmente et, avec elle, la gravit\u00e9 des blessures.<\/p>\n<h2>Quand consulter un m\u00e9decin ?<\/h2>\n<p>Ce qui est particuli\u00e8rement insidieux, c'est que les dommages provoqu\u00e9s par le courant ne sont souvent pas imm\u00e9diatement perceptibles. Le courant peut modifier l'\u00e9quilibre \u00e9lectrolytique, ce qui rend l'impulsion du c\u0153ur de plus en plus instable au fil des heures - jusqu'\u00e0 ce qu'il tr\u00e9buche, vacille ou s'arr\u00eate. C'est pourquoi toute personne ayant subi un choc \u00e9lectrique doit imp\u00e9rativement \u00eatre conduite \u00e0 l'h\u00f4pital ou chez le m\u00e9decin - m\u00eame si elle semble aller bien. Si, apr\u00e8s l'\u00e9lectrocution, la victime se plaint de palpitations, de tr\u00e9pidations, de difficult\u00e9s respiratoires ou d'une sensation de crampe dans la poitrine, il faut de toute fa\u00e7on appeler imm\u00e9diatement les services de secours.<\/p>\n<h2>Principale cause d'accident : non-respect des r\u00e8gles<\/h2>\n<p>La cause principale des accidents \u00e9lectriques est en premier lieu le non-respect des \"5 + 5 r\u00e8gles vitales\". S'y ajoutent le manque de connaissances techniques, le manque de temps, la distraction, le manque de clart\u00e9 quant \u00e0 l'\u00e9tat d'une installation ainsi que l'incapacit\u00e9 manuelle ou le mauvais outillage. Selon les statistiques d'Esti, pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 des accidents auraient pu \u00eatre \u00e9vit\u00e9s en respectant syst\u00e9matiquement les r\u00e8gles de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 pour un travail hors tension. La plupart des accidents \u00e9lectriques dans le domaine de la basse tension auraient pu \u00eatre \u00e9vit\u00e9s par l'installation de disjoncteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Les sup\u00e9rieurs hi\u00e9rarchiques doivent assumer leur responsabilit\u00e9 de gestion et imposer de mani\u00e8re cons\u00e9quente l'application des \"5 + 5 r\u00e8gles\" sans exception - aussi bien dans la formation des personnes non qualifi\u00e9es que dans celle des professionnels exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h2>Que faire en cas d'accident \u00e9lectrique ?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Tenir compte de l'autoprotection. La victime est \u00e9ventuellement sous tension.<\/li>\n<li>En cas de basse tension (selon ce qui est le plus rapide et le plus s\u00fbr) : \u00e9loigner la victime du circuit \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 l'aide d'un objet non conducteur (p. ex. manche \u00e0 balai, latte en bois) et l'\u00e9loigner de la zone dangereuse ou couper le courant (d\u00e9brancher la fiche d'alimentation, enlever le fusible)<\/li>\n<li>En cas de haute tension : se tenir \u00e0 distance, appeler les services de secours. Toute approche est dangereuse pour la vie jusqu'\u00e0 ce que le courant soit coup\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>En cas de perte de connaissance, de vertiges, de douleurs thoraciques ou de palpitations : Appeler les services de secours.v\u00e9rifier la respiration et le rythme cardiaque.
