15th Continuing Education Symposium of the SOHF

How can occupational health issues be addressed during the construction or renovation of healthcare facilities? From the start of a social project such as the construction of a new healthcare facility to the realization of the building's construction, from the review of plans to the commissioning of real workplaces, important health and occupational safety issues are often fragmented and clash with other imperative requirements of the construction or renovation.

The challenges are diverse and complex and, together with the client, require the expertise of architects, engineers, cantonal authorities, and also occupational health and safety specialists such as Ergonomistshygienists, occupational physicians and, of course, the users.
How can we meet the high demands for quality, safety and modernity, both for the patients and the residents and for the employees who spend time in the hospital, APH or clinic every day? How can we envision our future buildings to be functional, accessible to all, safe and sustainable? How can we visualize our workplaces so that they are ergonomic, comfortable and healthy?
