Fire hazard: Lenovo recalls the "USB-C Laptop Power Bank"

In cooperation with the Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (ESTI), Lenovo is recalling the "USB-C Laptop Power Bank" with item number 40ALLG2WWW. There is a risk of fire.

According to a statement from Esti, loose screws inside the aforementioned device can lead to a short circuit and overheating of the product, which poses a fire hazard. The product recall affects the Lenovo "USB-C Laptop Power Bank" with item number 40ALLG2WWW, which was manufactured between December 2021 and June 2022.

According to Esti, affected customers should immediately visit the website https://support.lenovo.com/solutions/HT515669 or contact Lenovo Support to find out if your power bank is affected by this recall. They would also receive assistance in replacing the power bank. If the power bank is affected by the recall, it should be discontinued immediately.
