A good 3.575 million safety-related measures reported
Securitas AG writes that it makes a valuable contribution to security in everyday life in Switzerland. It alerts the blue-light organizations when necessary, reports water intrusions and much more.
According to the information provided, the employees of Securitas AG reported 3.575 million security-related measures last year: For example, the security service provider alerted the police in 1583 cases and the fire department 325 times. Driving digitization forward
The company also writes that it is pressing ahead with further development in the area of digitalization. On the one hand, a major step towards digital collaboration has been successfully implemented with the widespread introduction of Microsoft 365. On the other hand, applications are being gradually modernized with the development of so-called microservices, thus creating added value for employees and customers. The creation of an agile and modern database for all information will lay the foundation. Next, the security service provider will replace the existing systems with the microservices. According to information, the applications work independently of each other and perform small tasks. Despite this independence, they are in constant exchange and able to interact with each other, it said. One of the key concerns is to improve the working tools for employees. This will improve the organization of operations, duty scheduling, resources, mission support and other factors. Digitalization supports work in the field. This would improve the accompanying circumstances, such as deployment information, duty rosters and opportunities to have a say, thus simplifying and supporting the deployment as a whole. Customers will benefit from this, it says. (rs)
