Swiss security industry sets new record
The Swiss security industry continued its growth trajectory in 2025. As the latest SES industry statistics show, the market grew for the eighth time in a row.

With an order volume of CHF 890.8 million, the security industry grew for the eighth year in a row in 2025. Overall, the industry recorded an increase of 4 percent, as shown by the SES (Swiss Association of Security Systems Installers) in its latest industry statistics.
This increase of 34.4 million is very positive in a volatile market characterized by global political uncertainties. The fact that all disciplines closed 2025 in positive territory is also very pleasing. In terms of member companies, 10 new entrants were offset by 13 departures.
Since 2017 and for the eighth time in a row, the Fire division has continuously increased its business result by a very goodTP3T 3.41 million to a total volume ofTP 550.7 million. With a goodTP3T 601 million of this volume, the fire alarm systems subgroup (FAS) achieved an increase ofTP3T 2.11 million to a solidTP 327.5 million.
As the second most important contributor, extinguishing (NLA + TLA) also closed with an increase of 6.6% over the previous year. The results for voice alarm systems (SAA) also made a pleasing contribution with an increase of 3.8% to 18.6 million, as did gas warning systems (GWA) with an increase of 2.7% to 54 million.
Since 2020, and thus for the fifth time in a row, the Security division has followed the positive trend and recorded overall growth of 4.1% to a total volume of 340.1 million. The largest contribution of almost 136 million is still made by the access control systems subgroup (ACS).
After a rather mixed year, intruder alarm systems (IAS) were also able to grow again, increasing by 5.1% to the 2018 level of just under 123 million. The volume increased by an impressive 12.7% year-on-year to 81.6 million.
The Association of Swiss Installers of Security Systems (SES) comprises the leading companies in this sector in Switzerland. SES is divided thematically into the Fire (BMA, NLA, TLA, GWA, SAA and RWA) and Security (EMA, VSA, ZKA) sections. SES members are specialist companies that are recognized by the Association of Cantonal Fire Insurers (VKF) and/or certified in accordance with SES guidelines. SES members undertake to comply with a wide range of quality criteria and safety standards.
