Security in the company forms the basis for the continuity of entrepreneurial activities and serves the Protection of employees. Security must also be economical - affordable. Too much investment in security can reduce profitability, damage the working atmosphere and impair innovation. Inadequate security can lead to legal consequences, especially for management, as well as to an increase in undesirable events, operational disruptions and, in extreme cases, to existential problems. Such problems must be averted or prevented in the first place by means of a robust, resistant organization (resilience).

Identify and optimize risks

In principle, a company must consider two aspects with regard to safety. The first is compliance with legal regulations. Such compliance issues are particularly important, which is why it is essential to raise awareness among management. The other is assessing specific risks and managing them with appropriate measures. How can business-critical risks be identified and optimized? Which risks can be managed or consciously accepted? And which risks can be hedged? Answers will follow in the presentations.
Sufficient guidelines and processes are also essential in a functioning safety management system. Speakers will use practical examples to show how security standards and clear structures can be successfully implemented. They also address security aspects in the use of social media. Can social media be useful in a company? Pure nuisance? Worthless? The aspect "Optimization through outsourcing of security" rounds off the series of presentations.
